COMPANY BACKGROUND

Valley Auctioneers was founded and registered by Samuel M. Gathogo in 1987under the old Auctioneers Acts when registration of Auctioneers was being licensed by the Provincial commissioner in respect of Auction of Bank properties, the court brokers license for Execution of court warrants was being issued by the Auctioneers Licensing Board, and the one in respect of distress for rent by the Secretary of the auctioneers licensing Board. In summary there were three category of license. Our first office was at Jeevan Bharati building along Harambee Avenue Nairobi. We had Branch offices at Kitale and Eldoret.In 1990 we began working for various institutions many of which we are still working for to date. We are the first Auctioneers to be issued with instructions to recover debt of over 1.5 Billion.

THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Samuel Gathogo is the Chief Executive Officer in charge of General Business Administration. He is a former member of the Auctioneers Licencing Board for 7 years and the first National Chairman National Association of Kenya Auctioneers of which he was one of the Founder Member. He is a recipient of a Certificate of Commendation from the Auctioneers Licensing Board. A member of International Union of Judicial Officers since the year 2000. Was also one of those who contributed to various materials in respect of the Auctioneers Act 1996.He has conducted several Auctions where His Excellence the President of Republic of Kenya has participated in the auction particularly the Nairobi International Trade Fair where his Excellence the President did emerge the highest bidder on 3 occasions with bids of over One Million for the Champion bull.
